Watch the trailer for the Chiveis Trilogy:

The Sword

Book One in the Chiveis Trilogy: Four hundred years after a deadly virus and nuclear war destroyed the modern world, a new and noble civilization emerges. In this kingdom, called Chiveis, snowcapped mountains provide protection, and fields and livestock provide food. The people live medieval-style lives, with almost no knowledge of the “ancient” world. Safe…

The Gift

Book Two in the Chiveis Trilogy: The trilogy takes place hundreds of years into the future. War and disease have destroyed civilization as we know it. Much technology has been discarded and history is largely forgotten. Slowly, the few survivors have begun to build new communities, and kingdoms now prosper in a kind of feudal order.…

The Kingdom

Hello, I read the Chiveis trilogy when it was first published.l and I absolutely loved it. Today I am the youth pastor at a small church in NC. I was thinking about using the trilogy in a Wednesday night series and was wondering if you published or knew of an accompanying study guide for the books. Thanks!

I read this series a few years ago and finally got my oldest daughter interested in it. She is now hooked… (And Ana reminds me a lot of her). It is an amazing story that grabs you and draws you in. I don’t care if you are a man or woman, there is something here for you. Powerful message about the sovereignty of God and His power through what appears to be a very dark time. Well done.

Is this being made into a movie or was the trailer made for the novels? Also, why are these books so hard to find? I finally found #2 and #3 at a used bookstore but new copies are very rare.

    Thanks.

Unfortunately, the publisher has discontinued the books. That is why they are hard to find, sadly. But the publisher doesn’t do a lot of fiction, so they are moving away from that. I have some copies that I could sell you if you are interested. And check out my Constantine’s Empire trilogy on Amazon. Those books (The Conqueror, and Every Knee Shall Bow) have very similar themes and storylines to what you see in the Chiveis trilogy. Thanks for the kind words!

Do you have a copy of The Kingdom that I could buy? I was able to purchase the first two on Amazon, but I haven’t been able to get a hold of the third.

Right now, I don’t have a copy, but I am planning to self publish these books in a few weeks and then they will be available!

I’m glad you like the books! I think you will like how The Kingdom ends. Look for similar stories, set in the historical past (Roman Empire/ancient church) in my Constantine’s Empire series (The Conqueror and Every Knee Shall Bow).

Well it would be cool to see them released through a publisher like Thomas Nelson. Just a thought.
